I had an epiphany one day watching my children scroll through pictures of themselves on our digital picture frame. The images they laughed over and talked about were of moments that really happened. Without fail, they skipped right past the beautiful photos where they were posed and I had worked so hard to get everything "perfect".
I realized that the photos they will treasure later in life are the photos that bring back memories. Not just of things they've done or places they've been but how it felt to be there.
